ResuMei collects the following data for the sole purpose of generating your deliverables:
Personal Information: Email address (for delivery) and Payment Metadata (processed securely via Stripe).
Career Data: Uploaded Resumes and Job Descriptions.
1.2 Data Usage & Security
Processing: Your career data is processed via our backend system and the enterprise-grade AI engine for analysis.
Storage: We do not retain your resume file after the session is complete. The analysis output (PDF/Doc) is stored temporarily to ensure email delivery, then archived/deleted according to data minimisation standards.
No Selling: We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to recruiters, data brokers, or third parties.
1.3 Cookies
We use standard cookies necessary for the functioning of the Stripe payment gateway and Google Forms submission process.
2. REFUND POLICY
2.1 The Nature of Digital Goods
Because ResuMei provides immediate access to digital intellectual property and automated analysis, we generally do not offer refunds once the report has been generated and emailed.
2.2 Eligible Refund Scenarios We WILL issue a full refund if:
Technical Failure: The system failed to deliver your report within 24 hours of payment.
Processing Error: The generated file is corrupt, blank, or technically unreadable after a reasonable times of attempts.
2.3 Non-Eligible Refund Scenarios We WILL NOT issue refunds for:
Subjective Disagreement: You disagree with the critique of your resume (e.g., "I don't like the tone").
User Error: You uploaded the wrong information or no receipt due to your email setting.
2.4 How to Request
Email team@resume-i.com with your Transaction ID. We review claims within 24 hours from the transaction time.
3. TERMS OF SERVICE & DISCLAIMER
3.1 No Employment Guarantee
ResuMei is an analysis and optimisation service provider. We do not guarantee that you will receive a progression in hiring process, a job interview, job offer, or salary increase by using our services. Employment decisions are based on market factors beyond our control.
3.2 AI Limitations
Our reports are prepared by AI technology. While we verify our logic against market standards, the output may occasionally contain inaccuracies. Users should review all "Editable Docs" (Tier 2 & 3) before submitting them to employers.
3.3 Limitation of Liability
ResuMei is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss or damage arising under or in connection with the use of our website or services.
